User Management
This section will cover actions that you can take on the platform related to User Management
Users on the platform
Viewing users that have access to the platform
Click on the profile button and then click on Organization Management Button. This will navigate you to the Organizational Management Dashboard with all team members
Organizational Management Dashboard
This is the organizational management dashboard, it provides an overview of all platform users.
Columns in the team members table
Field | Description |
---|---|
Name | Full Name of the user If this field is empty, the user has not logged in yet |
Email Address | User Email |
Roles | Organizational Level Roles assigned to the user |
Status | User's onboarding status: - Onboarded: means they've signed in - Pending Onboarding: means that the user was added to the platform but they haven't logged in yet |
Created On | The time the user was added to the platform |
Reset Password | Option to reset password (only allowed for users in Pending Onboarding status) |
Edit Icon | Allows you to edit the roles for the user or delete the user |
Adding a new user
- To add a new users, start by clicking on the Add Members button in the organization management page
- Next, set the email and select the roles for the user
Only the IAM Admin is allowed to assign admin level roles[DynamoGuard Admin, DynamoEval Admin, IAM Admin] to the user
- Copy the user's credentials shared for the platform and share the credentials with the invited user
Editing roles for an existing user
Only IAM Admins are allowed to assign admin level roles[DynamoGuard Admin, DynamoEval Admin, IAM Admin] to the user
- Start by clicking on the Edit Icon button for the user in the team members table
- Select the roles that you want to assign and click on Update Permission button
Reset password
You cannot reset passwords for an already onboarded user, this feature is only available for a user who has been invited and has not logged into the system yet.
- Click on Reset Password
- Copy the new set of credentials from the pop up and share with the user
Remove an existing member

Click on the edit icon for the user in the organization management page

Click on Remove Member on the bottom right side of the block
